Succession Records can offer publishing representation to songwriters through Darwin Media Services, which is registered with The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers. ASCAP has more than 275,000 members who are composers, songwriters, lyricists, and music publishers. We are in the final stages of establishing a publishing entity with Broadcast Music Inc. BMI is another organization that represents songwriters, composers and lyricists with an active catalog of over 6.5 million tracks.
Succession Records can provide a songwriter, composer, or lyricist with services such as establishing representation with ASCAP or BMI for public performance royalty administration and collection. It can accommodate mechanical license requests and registration of compositions with the United States Copyright Office and the Harry Fox Agency. HFA collects and administers over 80% of all royalties paid for physical and digital sales of intellectual property.
Succession Records also has experience with synchronization licensing, which is required for music video, film, television, commercials, and karaoke products. Each of these media uses are negotiated individually on behalf of the songwriter with a fee structure based upon the duration and frequency of use.

We will actively pursue placement of your song on consumer music products, digital delivery services, and in film, television and commercials.
