Frank Robertson brings over 25 years of product development and distribution experience to the Succession Records team. Stints with Trans World Entertainment, Alliance Entertainment, UAV Corporation, and Media Evolved have resulted in Frank developing distribution programs and a wide range of audio product lines resulting in well over $70 million in retail sales. Frank has spent the past six years focusing primarily on copyright and intellectual property licensing as well as manufacturing anti-piracy standards. His experience at every level of the process – development, manufacturing, and distribution – allow Succession Records to provide numerous services that many other independent labels cannot.
In his tenure with Trans World Entertainment, Frank was responsible for merchandising, in-store play, and retail promotions. He worked very closely with all of the major distributors, and initiated several very successful marketing vehicles. At Alliance Entertainment, Frank was responsible for all audio marketing campaigns, and oversaw the development of the One Way Records label, at the time one of the most prominent reissue labels in the world. As the VP of Audio at UAV, Frank was responsible for all product development, licensing, and publisher relations. He was the liaison for the Harry Fox Agency for mechanical licenses, and countless publishers for synchronization licenses. In his role as Compliance and Duplication Manager at Media Evolved, Frank oversees all IRMA Anti-Piracy standards and programs, as well as providing consultation to clients regarding license requirements and acquisition. Frank refuses to wear socks, cut his hair, and prefers chunky peanut butter but purchases smooth to accommodate his wife.
